Forest Community Information
Support and Services available in the Forest
Every other Tuesday morning a Forum of “Community Connectors” meets online. We try to provide details of what we know is going on in the Forest. We share all the positive things that are happening but also identify problems that have come to light. We also take the opportunity to cascade information about services that we know are available and support that we can offer one another.
It is a difficult time for everyone, and so this site has been created to offer a space where community groups and organisations can offer information about the services and support that they are providing.
‘Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that’s our real disaster.”
We have created separate pages for information relating to different subjects. We have put up information that we hope will be of interest or use to people. Where possible, we have provided links to further information should you need it.
A number of our member organisations are providing helplines and we have highlighted these where we can so that they can be easily identified.
If you would like to join the Forum and participate in discussions please email to let us know.
If you have any information which you feel would be useful to broadcast using this site please send it to the main FVAF email address – putting COMMUNITY WEBSITE in the subject line.
The Forum takes place with the support of Macmillan Cancer Support and Gloucester County Council. It is hosted and facilitated by the Forest Voluntary Action Forum (FVAF).
